Commissioned Right, From Day One
A power system is only as reliable as the checks carried out before it goes live. WarbaElectric's testing and commissioning service makes sure your solar system, UPS or battery bank is safe, correctly configured and delivering the performance you paid for, backed by a full engineering report.
What Is Testing & Commissioning?
Testing verifies that every individual component, from each battery and cable to each breaker and solar string, is healthy, correctly rated and properly connected.
Commissioning confirms that the complete system works together as designed under real operating conditions. The system is configured, energised, performance-checked and formally handed over to you with documentation.
Skipping these steps is one of the most common reasons for early battery failure, inverter faults, poor solar output and, in the worst cases, overheating and fire.

- SNMP card configuration for remote monitoring and alerts
- Firmware and parameter review
Battery Banks (VRLA, AGM, Gel, Lithium & Nickel-Cadmium)
Our battery checks follow recognised practice for stationary battery maintenance and testing (IEEE 1188 / IEEE 450).
- Individual cell and block voltage measurements
- Internal resistance / impedance baseline readings, recorded for future comparison
- Terminal torque, corrosion and inter-cell connector inspection
- Charger float and boost voltage verification, including temperature compensation
- Ventilation and ambient temperature assessment
- Full capacity discharge testing with DC load banks, available on request
Inverters, Transformers & Voltage Stabilizers
- No-load and on-load output voltage and frequency checks
- Protection function tests (overload, short circuit, low battery, over-temperature)
- Transformer voltage ratio and insulation resistance tests
- Stabilizer regulation checks across input voltage variations
Automotive & Heavy-Duty Batteries
- Open-circuit voltage and state-of-charge measurement
- Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) test with a digital battery analyser
- Starter motor current draw test
- Alternator charging output check
- Parasitic drain check for batteries that keep going flat
[Free battery health check with every automotive battery purchase.]
Our Process
- Review & Planning
We review your system design, equipment datasheets and single-line diagram (if available) and agree the test scope with you.
- Pre-Commissioning Inspection
With the system de-energised, we carry out visual, mechanical and safety inspections of all equipment and connections.
- Component Testing
Each circuit, string, battery and protective device is tested and every result is recorded.
- Energisation & Functional Commissioning
The system is powered up in a controlled sequence, configured and run through all operating modes.
- Performance Verification
We confirm that output, backup time and efficiency meet the design and your expectations.
- Documentation & Handover
You receive your commissioning report, and we walk you through safe operation of your system.
- Follow-Up
We check in after the system has been running to make sure everything is performing as expected.
What You Receive
- A detailed commissioning report with all measured values and pass/fail results
- A test certificate signed by our engineer
- A record of all inverter, UPS and charger settings
- Photographs of the installation and key connections
- Warranty registration support with the manufacturer
- A practical handover session on system operation and basic safety
- A recommended maintenance schedule
Professional Test Equipment
Our engineers use professional instruments, including insulation resistance testers, true-RMS clamp meters, battery impedance analysers, thermal imaging cameras and PV testers. Through our group we also have access to a large fleet of AC and DC load banks, allowing us to test UPS systems and battery banks under real load rather than on paper.
Safety Comes First
Solar arrays produce dangerous DC voltage whenever the sun is shining, and batteries can deliver very high currents in a fault. All our testing is carried out by trained personnel using proper isolation procedures, insulated tools and personal protective equipment.
Frequently Asked Questions
My installer already switched the system on. Do I still need commissioning?
Switching a system on is not the same as commissioning it. Many faults, such as loose connections, wrong battery settings or undersized protection, don't show up immediately but lead to failures months later. Proper testing finds them early.
Do you test systems that were not bought from WarbaElectric?
[Yes. We test and commission systems from any supplier, subject to a site review.]
How long does commissioning take?
A home UPS or small solar system usually takes [2–4 hours]. Larger commercial systems, or those needing load bank or capacity discharge testing, may take [one full day or more]. We will confirm the timing when we schedule your visit.
Is testing required for my warranty?
Many manufacturers require installation and commissioning by qualified personnel for warranty claims to be accepted. Our report gives you the documented proof.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the system type and size. [Commissioning is included with WarbaElectric installation packages.] For standalone testing, contact us for a quote
Why Choose Warba Electric
industrial expertise, retail convenience. Our group has powered oil fields, refineries and government facilities. That same standard now applies to every order, whether it's a single battery terminal or a 20kW solar inverter.
Engineers, not just sellers. Not sure which battery, UPS size or inverter you need? Our technical team will help you choose the right product for your load, budget and application.
Built for Kuwait's climate. Extreme summer heat and dust shorten the life of batteries and electronics. We recommend products and installation methods that stand up to local conditions.
Trusted brands, reliable supply. We source through our group's long-standing supplier relationships, so you get the right product with proper manufacturer warranty support.
Complete service under one roof. Delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, and after-sales support, all from a single team.
Clear pricing. All prices are shown in Kuwaiti Dinar, with no hidden surprises at checkout.
